ELMA grantee the African Paediatric Fellowship Programme was featured on CNN!

The African Paediatric Fellowship Programme (The APFP) is the leading training program in Africa dedicated to building the pediatric workforce by providing training and clinical experience in top-ranking African hospitals and universities to African pediatric doctors and nurses.

The programme is implementing change across Africa by creating a network of skilled child-health specialists who are building capacity for saving children’s lives while strengthening health systems.

To date, the APFP has trained 151 pediatric sub specialists and post graduate child health nurses from 13 African countries.

The APFP fellows are becoming leaders in their fields and making quality care a reality for children across Africa.
